We LOVE the revolution that is happening around the slow fashion movement. We identify with the idea of well made clothes that last more than a season. We aspire to a self made wardrobe that reflects our interests. We want interesting cuts, exceptional fit and alternative styling. And while there are some amazing indie designers changing the way people think about their wardrobe and helping people embrace traditional craftsmanship, we recognise that there is little out there for those of us who live a little bit darker.
What better way to own your style than to feel good in what you wear; with design that suits your aesthetic, cuts that flatter and fit like a glove, that you can make in various types of fabric and translate as well to every day cool as they do to ‘out out’ awesome.
So here we are, creating sewing tools with skulls at their core and sewing patterns with a darker edge.

Legend Sisters are here to help you create timeless garments that suit your aesthetic. More than that we have thrown away the rule book to create versatile alternative patterns for all body shapes.
We don’t do conventional size charts and we definitely don’t crystalise down body measurements to an arbitrary number. Our size charts do not follow the norm, our sizing gradient has been developed over 20 years creating wedding dresses and totally abolishes the number system.
Instead, our size chart starts at 24” waist up to 53” waist, and each division has a cute little symbol. No comparisons here. You are you, and we are here to help you create a wardrobe that enables you to feel the Goddess you are!

About us:
Dyed in the wool Goths and curvy girls with sewing in our blood.
Generations of dressmakers and tailors on both sides of the family pretty much meant it was inevitable our livelihood would evolve from the sewing machine.
We’ve created thousands of dresses over the last 20 years for alternative brides around the globe. We have developed each and every pattern ourselves and worked tirelessly to master our craft.
We now turn our attention to helping other people, just like us, who want to express themselves through their wardrobe by wearing clothes that make them feel amazing both inside and out!
