Privacy policy.
We respect your privacy and will do everything we can to keep secure any date we may collect to process your order. By using this website you are consenting to the practices described in this policy.
This policy (including our terms and conditions) detail how your information will be processed by Legend Sisters.
You can request a copy of all information we hold about you at any time.
Date storage
In order for us to manage our business effectively and give you the best customer service possible there are a limited number of systems that we use.
Our website it hosted by Squarespace, orders are also processed on Etsy and both are GDRP compliant. When you place an order online with us we require your name, email address, postal address and what you purchased. This information is obviously necessary to complete your order. That’s where is stops. We aren’t the type of company that analyses your purchase history in a bid to target you with ads. We’ll use your email address to keep you up to date on your order at that’s it.
Your payments are processed through PayPal. The only information we get is the date, amount and that the transaction is complete. There are no bank or card details attached to the transaction.
Our email list, which consists only of your name and email address is managed using MailChimp who are GDPR compliant. MailChimp use stat based analytics in order to tell us who opens which links (or doesn’t open the email at all) so we can work out which items are most popular. Very useful if you’re a marketing guru but to be honest we don’t send enough emails to get any useful insights anyway.
You will not automatically be added to our email list. The only way you can get on the list is if you subscribe when asked.
Security
Our Website
Our website and blog may contain links to other websites. If you follow a link to any other website please be aware that you are then subject to their privacy policy and we do not accept responsibility or liability for any personal data you submit to these websites.
Cookies
Cookies are a necessary part of a working website. They enable you to use the shopping cart and you will be asked to accept cookies when you start using our website. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors to our website and see how they move around our pages. This allows us to see what we need to improve so you can find what you’re looking for.
That said, you can delete cooling and also block them completely from your browser, but this will affect how you see our site and whole sections will become unusable.
Social Media
Our social media profiles are likely the first and main way you’ll get to find out about what’s going on in our day to day, but we may just be the most unsocial social media users ever. Each of the platforms we use provide user stats and we’ll occasionally look at these but don’t really know what to do with the information.
Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any information to outside parties.
